This No Bake Oreo Cheesecake is an easy no bake cheesecake recipe that takes basically no time to put together and is gone in about the same amount of time.

Whenever I make this homemade no bake cheesecake to take to a summer cookout or barbecue (or any other holiday dinner, any other time of the year), I don’t come home with leftovers.

I’ll admit that I’m a little disappointed, but considering how easy this No Bake Oreo Cheesecake is to make, I know there will be another one in the fridge soon enough!

How to Make No Bake Cheesecake:

  • Start with the crust: the crust here is a simple combination of Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. The melted butter is key to having a no bake crust that stays together, so don’t try to reduce it (unless you’re okay with a crumbly crust!).
  • Make sure your cream cheese is room temperature. This ensures that it will whip up with no lumps.
  • Beat everything together until smooth and then add in your whipping cream.
  • When you add in your cream, make sure it is cold, and whip with an electric mixer until it is thick and fluffy. Don’t stop until you are getting stiff peaks and firm ridges are made by the beaters!
  • Add no bake cheesecake filling to your Oreo cookie crust
  • Let it chill at least 6 hours, overnight is even better. This will help to ensure it slices nicely.

How to Store No Bake Cheesecake:

You can store this no bake Oreo cheesecake in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, keeping in mind that the crust will get softer the longer it is stored. It is best to make this cheesecake the day before you want to serve it.

You can freeze this cheesecake too. Just keep in mind that as the cheesecake thaws and releases moisture, the crust will become less firm. If you wish to freeze it, I recommend serving it partially frozen as a cold and creamy summer dessert.

  1. I love this recipe! Great way to kick off the New Year and fun to do with my 9-year old son. Tastes amazing! Thank you.5 stars

  2. I didn’t have 3 packages of cream cheese, only 1, so I divided the recipe into thirds and made little cheesecakes in my muffin tin. This recipe makes 8 regular muffin sized mini cheesecakes. They are delicious!5 stars

  3. Hi ,
The recipe looks delicious!! Am going to try this asap !! I just have a doubt what exact measurement is 1 1/2 cup or 11/4 cup can u please mention in grams or ml please !! Thank you in advance 5 stars

    1. We have never tried that substitution Lisa, but I am not sure your cheesecake would set up properly. It may be too liquidy. If you do try it out, let us know how it turns out!

  4. It shows whipping cream between cookies, but no instructions for it. Also, 5 cookies on top is not enough. Or are they broken in half? I am going to make it today. Thank you. Also the whipping cream looks like it came from a pastry/frosting maker.

    1. The cookies are Oreo cookies and they are cut in half. You can pipe the whipped cream on top with a piping bag to make a pretty design if you’d like.

  5. I made this for Mother’s day. My sister turned her nose up because she hates cheesecake, but then she tried a bite and actually liked it! It was a hit with everyone! Thank you for a simple recipe that everyone loved!5 stars

    1. I am so glad this cheesecake was well received with everyone, including your sister!

    1. Great question! Powdered sugar is icing sugar or confectioners sugar. Hope that helps Chrissie!

    1. A springform will usually hold a bit more than a pie plate (and it’s easier to cut/serve). You can certainly make it into a pie but you’ll likely have extra fillings/crumbs. You could make a few cheesecake cupcakes with the extra! Let us know how it goes if you try it.
